Too Many Pills for Aging Patients

Yvetta Fedorova’s book cover for “No One,” written by Gwenaelle Aubry, was selected for inclusion in this year’s American Illustration volume 31

No One, written by Gwenaelle Aubry, is the portrait of a man without true self, a one-time distinguished lawyer and member of the Paris bar whose disabling bipolar disorder turns him into a drifter and frequent visitor to mental institutions. Moving between the voices of daughter and father, this fictional memoir in dictionary form investigates the many men behind the mask, and a unified portrait evolves.
